AAF Tri-Cities extends a big bearhug welcome to graphic design hotshot Aaron Draplin for a Tri-Cities Takeover! Join us on Friday, October 7th at the historic and funky Uptown Theater in Richland for a day of design, logo mastery, workshoppin’ fun, and stories from one of our industry’s coolest characters.
The day will be split into two awesome events:
Aaron will have a booth setup in the lobby stocked full of DDC merch for sale. This is an experience you won’t want to miss! With the two separate events, there will be something for everyone – designers and advertising pros alike!
About Aaron
Aaron James Draplin of Draplin Design Co. lives, works and plays in Portland, Oregon. He makes stuff for rock bands, comedians, restaurants, sporting goods and leftie politicians. He’s traveled the world telling his story, with over 470 speaking fiascos under his belt. He co-created Field Notes with Jim Coudal, and their memo books are sold worldwide. His seven Skillshare classes are raging along, teaching design enthusiasts of all ages. He recently released his first two typefaces on ddcfonts.com. His first book titled “Pretty Much Everything” came out on May 17, 2016 on Abrams Books, which incredibly, is in its twelfth printing. The roster of DDC Merch is up to 300 products and growing!
